UTampa Giving Day 2026
My name is Adam Stark, and I am the chair of the Tampa Bay Alumni Club. I’m proud to support the University of Tampa’s Swim Team.Ìý This program reflects the very best of what it means to be a Spartan. Our student-athletes demonstrate discipline, resilience and a commitment to excellence both in the pool and in the classroom. Supporting the Swim Team on Giving Day is an opportunity to invest directly in their success and provides resources for training, travel and development that elevate the entire program. Together, we can make a meaningful impact and ensure our swimmers continue to compete at the highest level while representing UTampa with pride.
My name is Franchesca Rusca, and I am the co-chair of the Tampa Bay Alumni Club. I chose the University of Tampa for many reasons, but the Swim Team quickly became the heart of my experience. They were truly my second family, supporting me through both my undergraduate and graduate years ('21 and '22). The lessons I gained there - teamwork, discipline and community continueÌýto shape me in my professional life today. Giving back to the swim team is my way of helping future UTampa athletes find the same support and sense of belonging that shaped my own journey.
